Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 May 2026

cattlefeed.info respects your privacy. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Who we are

cattlefeed.info is an independent publication run by Parv Badjatiya. We do not require users to register, create accounts, or share personal information to read content.

2. Information we collect

When you visit cattlefeed.info, our hosting provider (Vercel) and our analytics tools automatically collect a limited set of technical data:

  • IP address (truncated for analytics)
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Pages visited and time spent
  • Referring website
  • Approximate geographic location (country/region level)

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.

3. Cookies

We use three categories of cookies:

  • Essential cookies — needed for the site to function (e.g. remembering your cookie-consent choice). These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies — used by Vercel Analytics and (if enabled) Google Analytics to measure traffic. These are aggregated and not used to identify you.
  • Advertising cookies — set by Google AdSense and its partners to serve relevant ads. These can be disabled by choosing "Essential only" in our cookie banner or in your browser settings.

4. Google AdSense

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Users may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or, for general opt-out from third-party vendors, aboutads.info/choices.

5. Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics for aggregate site-usage reporting. Vercel Analytics does not use third-party cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. See Vercel's privacy policy.

We may also use Google Analytics 4 (GA4). GA4 anonymises IP addresses by default. See Google's privacy policy.

6. How we use your data

  • To understand which articles and topics readers find useful
  • To improve the site's performance and content
  • To serve relevant advertising (with your consent)
  • To reply to messages you send us

We do not sell your data to third parties.

7. Data retention

Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months. Email correspondence is kept for as long as the conversation requires plus a reasonable record-keeping period, typically 2 years.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent for advertising cookies at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@cattlefeed.info. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children's privacy

cattlefeed.info is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently received such data, email hello@cattlefeed.info and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be flagged at the top of this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
